Overview
Peak Solar Insider (“Insider”, “we”, “us”) is an internal sales operations platform operated by Peak Solar for its sales team and staff. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including the data we access through Google APIs when you connect your Google Calendar.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, role, and reporting line — created by your administrator when you are invited.
- Operational data you enter. Leads, customers, appointments, contracts, photos, and related sales records you create while using Insider.
- Google account data (only if you connect Google Calendar). Your Google email address and your Google Calendar events — see the next section.
- Technical data. Session cookies and basic logs needed to keep you signed in and operate the service.
How we use Google user data
Connecting your Google Calendar is optional. When you choose to connect it, you grant Insider the following Google OAuth scopes, used solely to provide scheduling features:
- Google Calendar events (
.../auth/calendar.events) — to create, update, and cancel the appointment events you book in Insider on your primary calendar, and to read your free/busy times so we don’t double-book you. - Email address (
.../auth/userinfo.email,openid) — to identify the Google account you connected and link it to your Insider profile.
We do not read, store, or use the content of unrelated calendar events, and we never use Google user data for advertising or to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models.
Limited Use disclosure
Peak Solar Insider’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we store and protect your data
We store your data with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) on managed, access-controlled databases. The Google OAuth refresh token used to access your calendar is stored securely and used only to perform the actions described above on your behalf. Access is limited to the systems and personnel required to operate Insider.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share data only with the infrastructure and service providers we use to run Insider (such as hosting, email delivery, and our CRM sync), and only as needed to provide the service or as required by law.
Revoking access and deleting your data
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your Insider profile, or revoke Insider’s access directly in your Google Account permissions. When you disconnect, we delete the stored Google refresh token and stop accessing your calendar.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
